Roque Raquel Salas Rivera es un poeta, educador y traductor puertorriqueño. Sus reconocimientos incluyen el nombramiento como Poeta Laureado de la ciudad de Filadelfia, la beca Letras Boricuas, el Premio Nuevas Voces, el Premio Juan Felipe Herrera y el inaugural Premio Ambroggio. Coeditó de las antologías Puerto Rico en mi corazón (Anomalous, 2019) y La piel del arrecife: Antología de poesía trans puertorriqueña (La Impresora, 2023). Cuenta con ocho poemarios, enseña en el Programa de Literatura Comparada en el recinto mayagüezano de la Universidad de Puerto Rico y es el editor del contenido creativo para la revista caribeña sx salon: a small axe literary platform.
Roque Raquel Salas Rivera a Puerto Rican poet, educator, and translator. His honors include being named Poet Laureate of Philadelphia, the Premio Nuevas Voces, two Lambda literary awards, and the inaugural Ambroggio Prize. He has coedited the anthologies Puerto Rico en mi corazón (Anomalous Press, 2019) and La piel del arrecife: Antología de poesía trans puertorriqueña (La Impresora & Atarraya Cartonera, 2023). The author of eight poetry books, Roque Raquel currently teaches in the Comparative Literature Program at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez, and is the Creative Editor for sx salon: a small axe literary platform.
